The Province of Manitoba and the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs jointly appoint the Board of Directors.
Michael McMullen MBA – President MCM Consulting Ltd. Past Vice-Chair Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Wanda (Wuttunee) Charles PhD. – Professor at U of M department of Native Studies, and Author of several publications on Aboriginal economic development and entrepreneurship.
Jim Beardy – CEO of Kawéchiwasik Development Corporation, and past Executive Board Member of Thompson Chamber of Commerce.
The Board Members bring a broad range of knowledge and experience to FPEGF including finance and accounting, retail business, northern business, Indigenous economic development, business management and leadership.
First Peoples Economic Growth Fund is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Financial Institution. The purpose of the Fund is to improve the general economic well-being of Manitoba First Nations people by encouraging, promoting, developing and assisting to improve business and economic opportunities for Manitoba First Nations and their members. FPEGF provides a source of financing to support business proposals that are economically viable.
